What is NAWIC?

National Association of Women in Construction, (NAWIC) is a professional association comprised of women working in construction and related industries established in 1955. Today there are more than 6,500 members across the US.

Members are business owners and executives, subcontractors, managers and office administrators. They are also attorneys, architects, engineers, accountants, estimators and draftsmen. Some members are employed in construction trades including welding, electricity, carpentry and plumbing.

You can become a chapter or individual member by applying for membership. Student memberships are also open to students enrolled in construction related programs. Businesses can apply for one or more chapter corporate memberships or become a corporate affiliate.


NAWIC Rochester Chapter 314 meetings are held on the first
Wednesday of every month

Local Chapter members are available as speakers for career days, in school demonstrations, and youth oriented events!
