1. What is an interesting fact about you that you would like to share with the voters?
I am not originally from Rochester.  I’m from Vicksburg, Michigan and met my husband while we were both at Michigan State.  I told him we would never move to Buffalo (where his dad lives) because it gets too much snow.  So instead, we moved to Rochester, where we got more snow than Buffalo last winter.

2. What interests you about a board position with NAWIC?
As a Past President, I am excited to help keep up the momentum our chapter has built in our local area.

3. What do you feel you could bring personally to NAWIC as a board member?
I personally bring more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, the last 5 serving in some capacity with NAWIC.  My industry knowledge paired with my love for NAWIC help me to encourage women at whatever stage they are in their career.  I hope to help foster relationships that we have been building over the years within our chapter and with like-minded groups.
