1. What is an interesting fact about you that you would like to share with the voters?
I love trivia and watch Jeopardy regularly. I love to travel (and look forward to getting back out in the world post-pandemic, but shockingly have never been to NYC). My husband Chris and I live in Ontario, and I am a mom to a 2-year-old beautiful and sweet human tornado named Lyla.

2. What interests you about a board position with NAWIC?
For me, NAWIC represents the empowerment of women as a whole; whether it is in a construction related field, a different male-dominated profession, or in a much broader sense. This group truly aims at elevating its’ members, while simultaneously giving back to the community. By continuing to serve our members on the board, I aspire to take a more active role in helping the group achieve its’ goals and recruit new members to help spread the message of professional and personal unity. On a personal note, I believe the opportunity to retain my seat on the board is invaluable, as I continue to grow and develop as a young professional.

3. What do you feel you could bring personally to NAWIC as a board member?
As a board member, I hope to bring organization, energy, and passion, tied with the occasional well-timed joke or two. In all seriousness, this group is filled with tons of women I admire and respect both personally and professionally and if re-elected as Vice President, I would continue to work hard to spread the group’s message, attract new members to maintain our presence in the community, and collaborate with my fellow board members on new ways to increase our involvement as a Rochester chapter organization. I will also continue to listen to our chapter members to help bring new and creative ideas to help us grow both individually and as an organization.
